Ramies

Ramies, a small family business based in Shanghai, make these lovely linen dresses to order - you send them your measurements, and what colour you'd like, and they are made for you, bespoke. The top dress can be worn with the buttons at the front or the back (I've ordered it in heather grey), and is just £44. The romantic dropped-waist dress is £51. Pictures: Ramies.

Denim smocks

Two denim smock dresses I have my eye on - both have the strong selling point that they would comfortably make way for lunch. The top dress is £129, by Ganni at Plumo; the second is £155, by APC Madras at Urban Outfitters.

Jess Brown

What a beautiful quilt by Jess Brown. I absolutely love it. She has a new collection cming out next year called Jess Brown for Woman and Home, which will be a small collection of dresses and workshirts, and is bound to be lovely. Pictures: Jess Brown.

Monkstone Knitwear

Insanely cosy looking jumpers from this delicious, brand-new knitwear company, based on a farm in Pembrokeshire. The top jumper here has two little buttons on the back, and is £190; the second is knitted from undyed Dorset and Welsh Black Mountain wool, and is £180. They will see you through the coldest winter. Roseanna

This lovely label Roseanna is designed by two super-stylish Parisiennes. It's only been going two seasons - I spotted it at Donna Ida, one of only a few UK stockists. They do have an online shop, though (I'll take this shirt and this jacket please). Pictures: Roseanna.

Laurence Doligé

I was just in Fenwick and spotted this new French label, Laurence Dolige, designed by the woman who founded Madame a Paris. It's a cross between APC and Margaret Howell: quite simple clothes in really heavy, lovely quality materials, not as boyish as APC and not as boxy as Margaret Howell. I tried on masses and wanted it all. In fact, there was a check shirt and a pair of cotton trousers I was particularly taken by, and I'm trying to resist heading back there after work for some purchasing. Pictures: Laurence Dolige.

Athe

This is a really lovely shirt, that I probably need to own, from Vanessa Bruno Athe at Urban Outfitters. Pictures: Urban Outfitters.

Bric-a-Brac

Talking of Swedish things, I love the look of this label from Stockholm, Bric-a-brac, run by two super-glamorous Swedes, Malin Engblom and Christina Wingas - selling lovely, simple things to wear for women, men and children. They ship internationally. Pictures: Bric-a-brac.

Vanessa Bruno for La Redoute

Two favourites from the new Vanessa Bruno collection for La Redoute. Quite pricey for a catalogue (the top is £49, the jumper £85) - the quality better be top notch. Pictures: La Redoute.

LinenMe

LinenMe is one of the few places you can buy these really lovely, heavy, coarse linen bath towels that last years and years and get better the more you wash them. Inga, who owns the Surrey-based company, sources her linen in Lithuania, and it's good value - the set of four blue towels (two big, two little) in the top picture is yours for under £40. Sarah Raven

I love Sarah Raven's Kitchen and Garden, the online shop of the brilliant writer, cook and horticulturalist. It's stocked with the things Sarah loves and uses in her own home at Sissinghurst, including lovely bits for picnics, like enamel mugs and campfires, really good floristry kit and vases, and everything you could possibly need for your garden. Pictures: Sarah Raven.

Endellion

There are some truly lovely things over on Endellion, the small online shop run by Antonia Robinson and David Shields, from Charlestown in Cornwall. I'd love one of their extraordinary, fairytale-like tree lamps on my bedside table. They have a really good selection of not-crazily-extortionate paintings, too. Pictures: Endellion.

Odd Limited

Lovely things from Brigette Buchanan's beautiful company, Odd. Her "stripe dream" and "maud" cushions are on my wish list. I'd like to while away this afternoon on one of her rocking seats - in a shady spot, with a book. Pictures: Brigette Buchanan.

Few and Far

Excitingly, Priscilla Carluccio's beautiful shop Few and Far has launched its online store today. This Jars jug and Indian silk bag caught my eye.

Dee Puddy

Dee Puddy has really nice style, and her online shop is full of things I like, such as these blue-tinted Mason jars and linen cushions.

Huxley

Huxley's range of merino jumpers and cardigans, socks and belts, in upliftingly bright colours like ripe tomato, raspberry and cobalt are all made in Britain and are exceptionally cheerful. I think their cardis would look great on girls; I am obviously sold by the little H embroidered on the arm.

Nicole Heidaripour

I'd like to collect the whole set of Nicole Heidaripour's alphabetised fish and farmyard prints, sold at Hooper and Shaw, the lovely shop she runs in Port Isaac in Cornwall. See more of Nicole's work here.

Mango

I wandered into Mango on my way back from lunch today, and was quite tempted by this flecky-orange cardigan (it's better up close) and soft, oatmeal jumper (which could pass for APC I reckon) for under £30 each.

Petersham Nurseries

Excitingly, Petersham Nurseries, one of my top five shops in the world, has launched an online catalogue of the eclectic, beautiful things they stock. I love their mix of luxury and scruffy - from Astier de Villatte wine glasses to rusting garden furniture; and from the finest Italian stationary to stacks of zinc buckets. I pretty much want it all.
