Roseanna

This lovely label Roseanna is designed by two super-stylish Parisiennes. It's only been going two seasons - I spotted it at Donna Ida, one of only a few UK stockists. They do have an online shop, though (I'll take this shirt and this jacket please). Pictures: Roseanna.

Laurence Doligé

I was just in Fenwick and spotted this new French label, Laurence Dolige, designed by the woman who founded Madame a Paris. It's a cross between APC and Margaret Howell: quite simple clothes in really heavy, lovely quality materials, not as boyish as APC and not as boxy as Margaret Howell. I tried on masses and wanted it all. In fact, there was a check shirt and a pair of cotton trousers I was particularly taken by, and I'm trying to resist heading back there after work for some purchasing. Pictures: Laurence Dolige.

Brittany pottery

Many of my childhood holidays were spent in Brittany, so I'm so fond of this traditional Quimper pottery, painted with quaint men and women in national dress. As with anything that's popular with tourists there are masses of cheaply produced copies around, but if you want the real stuff you can buy in online at HB Henriot. I would love a set of his-and-hers bowls. Pictures: HB Henriot.

Rondini

Top, top quality leather sandals from Rondini - handmade in the same family-run workshop in Saint Tropez since 1927. Not cheap, but they do last years. If you order online (and have never owned a pair of Rondinis before), they'll ask you to do a drawing of your foot to make sure the fit is just so. Pictures: Rondini.

Rebecca's Aix

Rebecca Engels scours the brocantes of Aix-en-Provence for vintage linens to make her beautiful tote bags, which are lined with Liberty print. Each bag comes with a paper luggage label attached that tells the story of how the bag was put together - where she bought the fabric, handles and so on. She makes very nice shoe-bags and cushions, too.

Le Vestiaire de Clé

I have a major style crush on Charlotte le Strum, who designs and models her French label Le Vestiaire de Cle. Her clothes are voluminous but quite utilitarian and Japanese looking, and she is ridiculously chic (and only 23!). You can see her sporting her garms on her blog, and buy her outfits from her online shop.
