Monkstone Knitwear

Insanely cosy looking jumpers from this delicious, brand-new knitwear company, based on a farm in Pembrokeshire. The top jumper here has two little buttons on the back, and is £190; the second is knitted from undyed Dorset and Welsh Black Mountain wool, and is £180. They will see you through the coldest winter. Roseanna

This lovely label Roseanna is designed by two super-stylish Parisiennes. It's only been going two seasons - I spotted it at Donna Ida, one of only a few UK stockists. They do have an online shop, though (I'll take this shirt and this jacket please). Pictures: Roseanna.

Laurence Doligé

I was just in Fenwick and spotted this new French label, Laurence Dolige, designed by the woman who founded Madame a Paris. It's a cross between APC and Margaret Howell: quite simple clothes in really heavy, lovely quality materials, not as boyish as APC and not as boxy as Margaret Howell. I tried on masses and wanted it all. In fact, there was a check shirt and a pair of cotton trousers I was particularly taken by, and I'm trying to resist heading back there after work for some purchasing. Pictures: Laurence Dolige.

Sula

Sula is a British label designed by Alison Taylor, featuring quite lovely handmade clothes in hand-dyed silk and cotton and hand-loomed wool from her own fabric workshop in Vietnam. Visit her online shop here. Pictures: Sula.

Athe

This is a really lovely shirt, that I probably need to own, from Vanessa Bruno Athe at Urban Outfitters. Pictures: Urban Outfitters.

Keller

Keller, a label designed by Kelly Clark in Brooklyn, joins the list of labels to lust after. Kelly says her clothes are designed to "slip on, love, and wear unbothered." I like that very much. Her only European stockist is The Moon and Mars in Edinburgh, but I think they only sell her shoes. Found via Primoeza. Pictures: Keller.

Belle Heir

Belle Heir sells the most exquisite vintage clothes for babies (and up to five-year-olds) - proper antiques, really, rather that mere second-hand clothes. The spotty dress here is Belgian from the 1930s; the middle, crocheted dress is from the 1920s, and the gingham coat is 1960s. Unique treasures, with price tags to match. Pictures: Belle Heir.

Nice Things

The lovely (but quite terribly named label) Nice Things is from Barcelona. They have shops across Europe, and sell in the UK in stores like Nola, Fashion Dispensary, Attic and Get My Fashion. I particularly love the bottom dress; it's silk and embroidered and not bad value for £100, I reckon; buy it here. Pictures: Nice Things.

Sunspel

Arch Blog reliably tells me Sunspel make the best pants for boys, so I for one am excited to hear they're going to do women's clothes now, too. These things from their upcoming brochure look very comfy. Pictures: Sunspel.

Pedlars + Ilovegorgeous

The small, summery range for grown-ups that children's label Ilovegorgeous have done for Pedlars is very sweet indeed.

Laura Ashley & People Tree

I like the look of this soon-to-launch collaboration very much - particularly the shorts (bottom left) and the tunic (top right).

Vila

I love the colours of these shirt-dresses, with rolled-up sleeves and sweet bow belts, from Scandinavian label Vila. The added bonus is that they're only £30 each.
