Moheda Toffeln

Nice Swedish clogs from Moheda Toffeln, made by the same family company for five generations. They don't have an online shop yet, but you can buy them with free delivery here. Pictures: Sarenza.

Ash

These summer sandals would look good with thick wool tights and dresses in winter, too. They're from Ash, but only available in lots of sizes at (the new-to-me fantastic discount shoe store) Sarenza, because they're last season. Ash also make these excellent looking, simple and sturdy biker boots, which I also have my eye on. Pictures: Sarenza.

Ancient Greek Sandals

Christina Martini used to design for Louis Vuitton and Balenciaga, but now she runs this beautiful new sandal company in Athens. She does 31 different styles based on traditional designs (my favourites are the Myrtis and Electra), all of which you can buy online. Pictures: Ancient Greek Sandals.

Rondini

Top, top quality leather sandals from Rondini - handmade in the same family-run workshop in Saint Tropez since 1927. Not cheap, but they do last years. If you order online (and have never owned a pair of Rondinis before), they'll ask you to do a drawing of your foot to make sure the fit is just so. Pictures: Rondini.

Swedish Hasbeens for H&M

I popped into the Regent Street H&M to see the new Swedish Hasbeens collaboration today. It was chaos - stacks of shoes all over the floor and nowhere to sit to try them on - but I managed to score myself these red numbers for a mere £34.99, and am really pleased with them.

Sun San Sandals

Sun San Sandals make sweet, practical, quite old-fashioned sandals for children, which will be hitting these shores this summer. Their British website is very pretty - in fact I wish they made them in grown-ups' sizes. Pictures: Sun San Sandals; found via Charlie and Caroline's Blog.

I love these desert boots, for children and grown-ups, from Spain's By Mott.

Zara and Liberty

I know Liberty spreads itself thinly these days, lending their prints to anyone who asks - but I was very taken by the little range they've done with Zara Home Kids, featuring adorable, well-made and not-too-expensive baby clothes, towels, lovely spongebags, changing mats, bibs and totes for new mums.

H & M

It's always a tiny bit sad when something you really, really love gets very popular... but still, I'm sure I'll be queueing up with the rest of them on 20 April, at the launch of the SwedishHasbeens range for H&M, and be snapping up those red clogs in a size 5.

F-Troupe

I am actually willing it to get even colder, so I can justify investing in these little beauties. I'm quite partial to everything at F-Troupe, in fact.

River Island

I'm not really a River Island fan - but these boots, at £29.99, are a crazy bargain.

Rae Jones

I love Rae Jones's beautifully simple and elegant shoe designs. She's selling her work on the really impressive new Young British Designers site.

duckfeet

They're not glamorous, or fashionable, but I love dorky shoes like this. They're like the shoes I wore when I was five. And they're from Denmark. And they're called duckfeet. I'm sold.

Dorky shoes

I'm sure shoes like this strike fear and horror into most people, but I've always had a bit of a thing for dorky shoes - the kind of sandals my physics teacher wore with socks.

Spartoo

New-to-me online store Spartoo sells those Parisienne-style gym shoes I like: Springcourt, Palladium and Bensimon - in hard-to-find colours.

Alpine Boots

I love these Penelope Chilvers snow boots. They're based on a vintage pair she found in a junk shop. I love the funny little upturned toes, braided trim and red laces. They make me hanker for some crisp mountain air, a log-cabin and some gluhwein.
