I'm pleased to have stumbled upon Nkuku today, an online store specialising in fairly traded crafts, based in Devon. I particularly love the setting for their pictures of their wares - I'm guessing it's their own cottage - with weather-beaten floorboards and white-painted stone walls.
I am completely seduced by everything at The Vintage Gardener - an online antiques store that specialises in love-worn gardening kit: from vintage rakes and mottled zinc buckets and watering cans, to chic Fifties wicker picnic hampers, and perfect hats for shading under while pruning roses.
I'm not really one for fawning over celebrities' style, but I have to say I love this frayed pink linen dress that Reese Witherspoon was papped wearing. And I quite fancy the basket she's carrying too...
Swedish company Harry's Hardware make perfect pyjamasin summery colours (lilac is my favourite), lovely quality menswear-style shirts, and woolen cardiganshand-knitted to order.
The ultimate stripey Breton t-shirts by Saint James (unchanged in design since 1889 and worn by everyone from Picasso to Audrey Tatou) are buy-one-get-one-free at Moi Moi Moi until the end of July.
We're taking off to Tuscany on Monday, to stay with Beatrice, so it's with particular excitement about what culinary delights might be in store next week that I was reminded of this book, a volume of Italy's most inspiring recipes for warm-weather food - from gnocchi with plums, to rose-petal gelato. The equally mouthwatering photography - of food and landscapes - is by Andy Sewell and Joel Meyerowitz.
There is something so pleasing about Manufactum, with its range of properly sturdy - but really stylish - things for your home. Their reassuring tag line is The Good Things In Life Still Exist; and this bone egg spoon and bitter orange marmalade are among my favourites from their excellent website.
