It really ticks me off that shoemakers like Cheaney only make their nicest boots for boys; and when they do do women's stuff it's all a bit wussy and watered down - like women don't want boots in which they can tramp through fields. I would totally wear these rugged Jackies, if only they made them in little size fives.
My goodness, they're perfect. Have you seen the women's collection at Church's? Great men's shoes, terrible women's shoes. It brings me to tears, they're so terrible! I'm so bummed out about finding boots - I'm going to to either a) give up or b) buy the Margaret Howell boots and remortgage.
