Wood & Wool Stool

Dutch designer Ingrid Jansen is the queen of crochet, and under the name Wood and Wool Stool she makes charming blankets, reclaimed-wood stools with crochetted seat-covers, adorable knitted bunting and garlands, and these insanely sweet hangers for baby clothes. The Sleep Room

The Sleep Room is a new-to-me site for everything bedroomy. Their Mexican floor cushions make me very happy, their rugs are some of the nicest I've seen, and I love the look of this Swedish-looking chest of drawers and pretty embroidered lampshade. Pictures: The Sleep Room.

Endellion

There are some truly lovely things over on Endellion, the small online shop run by Antonia Robinson and David Shields, from Charlestown in Cornwall. I'd love one of their extraordinary, fairytale-like tree lamps on my bedside table. They have a really good selection of not-crazily-extortionate paintings, too. Pictures: Endellion.

Easter weekend

Family lunch in the garden, Easter egg hunt, bike rides and picnics.

Odd Limited

Lovely things from Brigette Buchanan's beautiful company, Odd. Her "stripe dream" and "maud" cushions are on my wish list. I'd like to while away this afternoon on one of her rocking seats - in a shady spot, with a book. Pictures: Brigette Buchanan.

Lindsay Pearson

Really delicate and beautiful everyday jewellery, handmade in London by Lindsay Pearson. Necklaces for people who don't really like wearing necklaces (for example, me).

Swedish Hasbeens for H&M

I popped into the Regent Street H&M to see the new Swedish Hasbeens collaboration today. It was chaos - stacks of shoes all over the floor and nowhere to sit to try them on - but I managed to score myself these red numbers for a mere £34.99, and am really pleased with them.
Picture: by me, with my brand-new iPhone.

Sun San Sandals

Sun San Sandals make sweet, practical, quite old-fashioned sandals for children, which will be hitting these shores this summer. Their British website is very pretty - in fact I wish they made them in grown-ups' sizes. Pictures: Sun San Sandals; found via Charlie and Caroline's Blog.

Thomsen

Yes. The lovely Paris label Thomsen, makers of the nicest shirts, is now available at ASOS. Pictures: ASOS

Black Sheep

I know it's the wrong time of year for them, but I do love these mittens from Black Sheep (although it's probably the packaging that sells it, if I'm honest). They're knitted from British wool by local folk in Norfolk. Black Sheep do seriously chunky jumpers and flannel nightshirts and bars of wool-fat soap, too. Pictures: Black Sheep.

Bell Pottery

Bell Pottery was run by Jonathan and Sue Atkinson, until Sue sadly died a few years ago. Now their daughter Jane runs the company, decorating their beautiful plates, cups and bowls by hand with designs inspired by William de Morgan tiles. I love their mugs, particularly; no two designs are the same. Buy directly from their pottery in Chipping Norton, or see their stockists list here. Picture: Bell Pottery.

MiluMe

I'm not a fan of visible bra straps (I generally like underwear to be just that - under clothes), and have an actual phobia of those detachable see-through bra straps that purport to be "invisible", but just look like strips of perspex... But these interchangeable bra straps, thought up by Suzanne and Anna from MiluMe, are quite lovely. They make them in Liberty print and gingham and I can imagine not minding at all if one of these slipped into sight on my shoulder. Picture: MiluMe.

Sunspel

Arch Blog reliably tells me Sunspel make the best pants for boys, so I for one am excited to hear they're going to do women's clothes now, too. These things from their upcoming brochure look very comfy. Pictures: Sunspel.

Up The Wooden Hills

Up The Wooden Hills is a little label from Gothenburg that - like most things from Sweden - I am a little bit in love with. This summer, they've just made one dress - knee-length, with deep pockets and nice sleeves you can roll up, in a few different Liberty prints - designed, they say, for riding "trains and swings"... and "suitable for jumping in and out of buses and as well as lying flat on the back in the grass". I love Sweden. Pictures: Up The Wooden Hills. Found via Wildflowers Pretty and, originally, Liebmarlene.

Poshyarns

Rebecca Lewis describes Handmade at Poshyarns as a "true kitchen table business". Based from her home in Suffolk, she makes little handsewn things like tea cosies and lavender bags, but I think her nicest designs are for children: linen dresses and tunics and bloomers with Liberty-print pockets and trims. The Forest and Co

These glazed earthenware bowls, hand-painted in Devon, and sold at The Forest and Co, are the kind I really love. Perfect for porridge. Buy them online here. Picture: The Forest and Co.

Gaucho Belts

I love these colourful Argentinian Gaucho belts. And amazingly good value for £30, I think.

Millie Manu

Two delightful things for girls from Camilla Ridley's Millie Manu. Pictures: Charles Glover for Millie Manu.

PS: Also, sweet tutu nappy pants from Milk Two Bunnies.

Element

These tiny little 14ct gold, heart-shaped earrings from Element are so perfect, and are under £50. Picture: Element.
