Charlotte Dean

Charlotte Dean's bespoke quilts for newborns are the kind I wish I could make myself. Sort of like Tracey Emins, but for babies, and amazingly good value for the work involved. Proper heirlooms, really. Her knitted cot blankets are really sweet, too. See bigger pictures here and here (I don't know why mine are so small, sorry!)

Green Grove Weavers

A really special and extremely cosy looking woollen blanket (made only from wool from sheep called Jacob!) woven in Scotland, and sold at SCP.

Karen Walker

I find these Karen Walker outfits incredibly pleasing, and would really like to own this pair of shoes.

Second-hand

That Indie Look is full of sanely priced second-hand things. I like this Cowboy shirt and battered old Mexican boots - which just happen to be in my size.

Judith Harvest

Officially the most the incredible, beautiful, joyful and happy-making cardigan I've ever seen. It's Danish, obviously; knitted by Judith Harvest and shown online by her proud granddaughters. Discovered on Elena Gold's blog.

Oysho

I've endured quite a lot of grief about wearing my tweed plus fours, but looking at these pics of Spanish brand Oysho I'm feeling inspired to wear them again, with confidence. I need that mustard cardigan, though.

Glittery tights

I am going to brazenly copy Natalie (whose blog I love) and source myself a pair of glittery tights (from here or - even nicer - here, thank you Sarah!). Just the ticket for drizzly October. I'm partial to her tassle-toed boots, too (they're from Clarks).

Couverture

A sweet apple-shaped bedside trinket box for earrings, coins and cufflinks, from Couverture.

Great English Outdoors

Shetland-wool mittens and an exceedingly natty knitted waistcoat: two more things I'd like to own from my favourite shop on the planet.

F-Troupe

I am actually willing it to get even colder, so I can justify investing in these little beauties. I'm quite partial to everything at F-Troupe, in fact.

Helen Ficalora

Showing amazing restraint, I think, the only thing I bought for myself in New York was one of these (the H, obvs) very pretty, simple gold alphabet charms from Helen Ficalora, copying my friend Rebecca (R).

Norse Projects

I do love a Nordic jumper.

Vintage Seekers

Vintage Seekers sells beautiful antique clothes - like this enchanting silk 1920s dress - and other collectibles that interest me less (like vintage wines and Porsches) to people for whom money is no object.

Local

Such a pretty shirt, from Local. (Spied in a sneak preview of next summer's things).

Hackett

Extremely jolly braces for men from Hackett - that would look just as good on girls, I think.

Masscob

This incredibly yummy Spanish label, Masscob, looks like a lot of clothes I already own, but just slightly nicer versions.
Via Ill Seen, Ill Said and, originally, Honey Kennedy.

Mina Stone

I'd venture that this is pretty much the perfect dress. And I'm keen on her hair, too. By Mina Stone, via Wikstenmade.

Velvet Ribbon

If sleeping in a bed made up with linen sheets, an eiderdown and a crocheted blanket is your thing, and you're partial to toasting a crumpet on a roaring fire in a Welsh farmhouse - then you'll love the wares at Velvet Ribbon as much as I do.

River Island

I'm not really a River Island fan - but these boots, at £29.99, are a crazy bargain.

Handwritten

Handwritten is a range by Tanya Sarne, who founded Ghost. I think some of this new autumn collection - with its floaty dresses and long cardigans in sludgy colours - is very pretty.
